A walks schedule for the year is usually issued in January. Whilst the two leaders will lead a couple of walks each, we do ask our walkers to volunteer to share their knowledge of the local area by leading walks themselves.

We do like to start and finish near a suitable lunch location (pub!)

These walks are organised for members of the Yateley & District u3a.
Group leaders are Min Gardiner (xansamaz@aol.com) and Romy White (romyandjohn@hotmail.com).
Walks take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Walk leaders are asked to lead walks of approximately 5 miles in length starting within a 40 minute drive
from our meeting point. A pub lunch or similar should be arranged close to the end point.
For most walks we meet at Frogmore Campus lower car park at 0930 for a prompt departure at 0945,
car sharing where possible. Occasionally we meet at the start point or we may start earlier if the start is
further away so watch out for details.
If in doubt as to whether the walk will go ahead, (i.e. bad weather etc) please contact the Walk Leader
by 8.45 a.m. on the day for confirmation.
Please be aware that everyone who takes part in a u3a walk does so entirely at their own risk.
