Another toasty day saw us walking round Old Basing last week with some local history learnt on the way!   We found out that Piggy Dam is a feature of the Lodden just below the Lower Mill.  Also the Ampitheatre is a the result of brick making activities not the Romans!  The Bolton Arms was a welcome sight at the end.
